Owners Bill and Debbie Weldon know there is much more to a great restaurant than a fabulous location. It is a combination of many things. When exploring by land, the relaxing drive along the scenic Chesapeake National Byway leads right to the welcoming dining room and spacious waterfront deck of Waterman’s Crab House. There is plenty of free parking. If arriving by sea, expect a deep water channel, easily accessed from nearly any point on the Upper Bay leading to 30 deep water slips that will accommodate boats of any size. Call ahead for slip reservations and a friendly dock master will assist with docking.
A great seafood restaurant experience begins with the steam room as well as the kitchen. In addition to Waterman’s world famous “from the boat to your table” steamed Maryland blue crabs, an exciting and creative variety of other fare is available. This includes award-winning Signature Stuffed Rockfish, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and BBQ Ribs. A variety of steamed seafood combinations and crab feasts are often featured on the special menu. In addition to its signature regular sea fare, the restaurant will proudly feature a fine assortment of fresh fish, such as grouper, orange roughy, tilapia, ahi tuna and more.
